I grew up in Cupertino, CA and later graduated from UCLA. I love helping my students differentiate themselves through poignant, hilarious, endearing stories about everything from scooping cat litter to feeding the coin laundry way too many pesos.
I am a product of the same pressure cooker environment my students come from, and I try to make the essay writing process fun and reflective. My hope is that through this journey, they gain a greater appreciation for the wit, humor, resourcefulness, compassion, and wisdom already within them.
